Potter Place Stage Coach

This is an 18" X 24" pencil drawing that I have since completed of a stagecoach at Potter Place Station in the town of Andover, NH. This is a commission drawing for a gentleman who wanted a scene including his great-grandparents who were the last to operate a stage coach connecting Potter Place railroad station with New London, NH in the early 1900's. He provided me with detailed photos of the original stage coach (now in the New London Historical Society) and had me put two teams of horses in front with his Great-grandparents at the reins. In the stage coach are his wife's parents, his parents, and in the back are his wife and himself. The roof of the Potter Place station in Andover, NH is at the far right, and Boston and Maine locomotive 1366 is behind the stage coach and horses. This took a tremendous amount of time to complete.
